SIGNS OF AN UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIP

Does your partner ridicule some of your most valued beliefs such as race, class or sexual preference?
Is your partner extremely jealous or does he or she harass you about imagined affairs?
Does your partner insult you?
Does your partner “draw” you away from family or friends?
Is your partner abusive to pets or other animals?
Does your partner tend to use force to solve problems?
Does your partner punch walls or throw things, have a short temper, overreact to little things like having a bad seat at the movies or not finding a good parking space?
Does your partner abuse drugs or alcohol?
Does your partner have low self esteem, act tough or “act like a big shot?”
Does your partner have old fashioned ideas about the roles of a man or woman in a relationship?
Does your partner seem to be abnormally fascinated by guns, knives or other lethal weapons?
Does your partner go through extreme emotional highs and lows almost as if he or she were two different people?
When your partner gets angry, do you fear for your safety?
Are you treated roughly by your partner?
Do you feel threatened by your partner?
