For over three decades, the Crisis Line has provided Middle Tennesseans with easily accessible 24 hour telephone counseling services. Our compassionate counselors offer comfort to the bereaved, reassurance to the troubled, and hope to the disheartened. Thanks to the dedication of Crisis Center volunteers and staff, there is someone who cares when no one else will listen.

The Crisis Center is a vital resource not only for people in crisis, but also for those in need of emotional support or guidance to appropriate helping resources. Regardless of the need, whether it’s assistance in finding furniture, agencies to help pay utilities, or affordable mental health services, Help Line counselors can guide callers to the most appropriate area resources.

Survivors of Suicide

Support groups for individuals and families who have lost a family member or friend to suicide meet weekly. Please call the Crisis Line for details.

Sudden Loss

Bi-monthly support group for persons who have lost a loved one through sudden death. Please call the Crisis Line for details.

Middle Tennessee Coalition for Suicide Prevention

The Coalition represents over 38 trained couselors from local agencies that help a school return to normal after a sudden death or suicide. Schools can contact the Coalition coordinator by calling the Crisis Line any time, day or night.
